The Cuckoo’s Nest is a LARP society based in Glasgow that meets up regularly for adventures and banquets that take place in our own fantasy world setting. New members are always welcome, and we have plenty of kit and equipment that can be borrowed if you don’t have your own yet.

Adventures are the regular one-day events that happen throughout the year. There’s usually two a month, alternating between Saturdays and Sundays. Almost all adventures happen at Mugdock Country Park in Milngavie, and we usually meet up in the cafe there from 11am. During adventures, half the attendees will play the adventure and the other half will act as monster crew. It is expected that most people will take a turn as a monster before playing again.

Banquets are full-weekend events where big plots are often brought to a head and larger numbers of players can be brought to focus. There is usually a banquet meal on the Saturday night (hence the name), and a succession of short linears will usually fill the weekend. There is usually a dedicated monster team for the event.
